I HEART Stephanee

My Bestest Friend, Stephanee! I love her and miss her and wish we were not states away. She is the sweetest person. Soft spoken but not afraid to speak. She is a loving and patient mother, and a supportive wife to her husband. She is always there to listen, laugh, talk, and give a helping hand. Her heart is BIG and her family will always be #1.

More Fall Festivities

We were invited to a Halloween party/B'day party. I know! We have friends. Can you believe it? Jay Caudle is an old friend from my teenage days. He moved to Orlando with his wife and 2 boys (same age as our boys) a few years ago. Thank the Lord for Facebook where we can keep in touch with old friends. Jay invited us to try their church last Sunday and then to his B'day bash last night. We got to meet a lot of super nice people. Great food, great people and great fun.

Although, their little weiner dog kept humping Truston. Poor kid became terrifed of the dog by the end of the night. Then Truston decided to pick up someone's open beer bottle off the table and of course try a drink or two( I guess he was more upset about the dog than I thought). Not sure how much he had but Matt caught him red handed and his breath reeked of beer and it was spilled all over him. Hey, don't judge my parenting! It's hard to keep up with two boys who have only had halloween candy for dinner! Yes, I let them eat a ton of candy last night, Truston got humped by a dog, and had his first taste of beer. Lets hope this doesn't affect him long term.
Pirate and Princess Party at Chick Fa La. We stopped in last night before our big party. They had the whole place decoarted so cute. Half the restaurant was in Pirates and half was in Princess. I wanted to sit on the Princess side but the boys wouldn't have that!

Halloween Art

Zander and I enjoy doing arts and crafts together. I make it a point at least every other to sit down with him one on one to color, paint, and create art in some way, shape or form. This week we are focused on fall and halloween.

Tator Tot Casserole

The Duggar family is AAAmazing! They are my favorite family. Ok my family is my favorite but they are my 2nd favorite. Have you seen the show 18 kids and counting? It's now my favorite show. I learn so much from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. The love and patience they show just blows my mind. I want to be like them minus about 15 kids.

People give them a hard time for having so many kids but if anyone in this world should be producing children THEY SHOULD! Look at thier family! They are raising Godly men and women with high morals and no compromises. I love it.

I got thier famous tator tot casserole recipe of their website and made it for dinner tonight. It was WAY good. I added shredded cheese on top and can we say "YUMMO?" That's right.

I have found my perfect bathing suit. All you moms out there understand how hard it can be to find the bathing suit that fits your every curve just right. I have found mine. I spent way too much money on it but it was totally worth it. I live close to the beach and have a pool at our aparments so I will get my moneys worth and just look at it. : )

Halloween Party at the pool

Last Friday, our apartment complex had a Halloween party at the pool. There was food, a DJ, dancing and competitions. I dressed Zander up as a cowboy and Truston as a little hill billy. They were pretty darn cute if I say so myself. At the party the DJ had all the kids come to the dance floor and have a dance off. After much coaching and bribes of lots of candy and toys I talked Zander into dancing and boy oh boy did he get into it! He started off with a little sway and some footwork and then busted out some moves I have never seen him do before. He jumped on his hands and feet went in the air and the crowd went wild! He totally won the kids dance contest. The DJ called him "break dance cowboy" That's my boy. Taught him everything he knows. He won a pumpkin flashflight and was SO excited! THEN they had the costume contest. Zander and Truston were the only ones in the toddler category so Zander won the disposable Sponge Bob camera and was just lovin this party with all these prizes! WAIT there's more...Zander won 3rd place overall in the costume contest and we won $75 off our rent. Woot Woot! We had a fun time and Zander rocked the party!

I did it!

I said when my family moves to Florida I will start a blog. Look at me, making this thing work! Lots more to come once I figure out how to do all this. Yeah for Florida and for technology so I can keep in touch with all my family and friends in Oklahoma!
