Happy Birthday, Z-man!

My Zander Bander has turned 4 years old!

Sneaking some food before the party...
Doing the Birthday boy dance. O yeah!
Party Food!
(I just love party food, Yumm-O)
Zander's Donut Cake! Zander does not like Cake. I know it's weird, he totally doesn't get that from me!
He absolutely LOVES chocolate donuts so I came up with the idea of a donut cake. It was a big hit and went great with our Curious George themed Party.
We invited the Gomez's, and the Caudle's and their sister and her family!
We had a house full of kiddos and Z-man was loving it especially since they came with presents.
This is Zai. They have become best buds.
Time to light those candles...
Yea, he did it!

         GO Diego car!
And Diego Jeep with a trailer and animals! Wahoo!
Andrew and Zai helped open presents. A buzz light year game!
A box from Nana and Papa... with a super cool Discovery Animal toy!
Presents from Momma, daddy and Truston
Matt got him a shot gun where he can actually shoot at moving targets and keep score. It's a fun toy and the boys love it.
Party On!
So, on Zander's actual Birthday we took him to Monkey Joes with some of his b'day money he got from his great grandparents.
Monkey Joe's is an indoor play place filled with large inflatables.
Truston wasn't too sure about all of this but finally got the guts to try it out.
As soon as we walked in the door Zander was gone and didn't sit down for 2 1/2 hours!
He was running, sliding, jumping....
UP he goes
Look how high he is!
He did this over and over again!
And this is where Mr. T spent most of his time and my quarters...away from the big scary slides!
Monkey Joe and the Birthday Boy!
What a fun way to celebrate Zander and his 4 years with us!

Weekend get away with the Fam!

We took a short road trip to Plant City which is where I lived when I was Zander's age.
They are famous for their strawberries so we had to go the strawberry festival!
First, we got a hotel and dinner and then we ventured to a bowling alley!
The boys have never been bowling before. Yeah for new adventures!

They were quite excited especially when they saw the balls!!
And the too cool shoes!
So a quick lesson from Mom, some bumpers
and help from dad...
Zander was a pro! Even if it did take 10 minutes for the ball to hit the pins!
It was all about the experience.
We had fun and I must say I bowl really well with bumpers. he he he

The next morning we were off to the Strawberry festival!
A good friend met us there.
Look at the hairy beast on the left!
He just got his hair cut and shaved the mustache so I can say that. I am not a fan of mustache march.
What's a strawberry festival with out strawberries?
Dipped in Chocolate!
These were enjoyed while watching the pig races. snort snort

So, Matt and I started a work out plan together called P90x and really are trying to watch what we eat. We started it the week before we came here!
HELLO! Just add the fat directly to my butt, please!
And yes I tried the deep fried Pepsi and cookie dough and they were to die for.
What? At least I didn't get the deep fried butter or the Krispy Creme Hamburger!
OR the amazing funnel cakes...
And I wanted to try this SOOO bad but I just couldn't let myself do it.
Chocolate dipped bacon? I LOVE bacon and I LOVE chocolate.
Makes sense to me.
After we were all sunburned and it was so crowded we couldn't move we headed home.
We had a great weekend!

Truston Noah

 My little Truston button

He wears his heart on his sleeve

I always know how he feels and what he's thinking.

He's curious
He's silly
T-man loves to brush his teeth
and sing... at the same time.
He likes to be "free" and independent though he's not too good at the independent part yet.
He's a momma's boy
He wants me to do everything with him.
This kid is great at making messes and thoroughly enjoys them.
Truston has such a sweet personality and loves to give hugs and kisses but is not afraid to be very loud! I am thinking he has gotta be a singer someday because he's got a booming voice. Today I yelled at Matt and jokingly told him to shut up and Truston immediately yelled very louldy "SHUTUP" over and over again! He's our little mocking bird.
He loves his bubba. He doesn't like to do anything without him.
They are best buds and play so well together.
He's rough and he's tough but at the end of the day he's the sweetest little booger, best little brother, momma's boy, loves to tackle daddy, and chase the cat all over the house.
I love you, Truston Noah, and I am so blessed to have you as son. There is no doubt in my mind that you will grow up to do great things for our Lord's Kingdom!
