Since we have been here in FL our schedule has been so off. We experienced a time change by moving to Florida. We are an hour later than everyone in OK. The news doesn't come on here until 11 p.m. I am a creature of habbit and in OK, Matt and I would put the kids to bed and watch our fave shows that usually come on at 9 p.m. then I would watch the news and go to bed.
BUT I cannot stay up till midnight watching TV. I mean my goodness! I have two children who seem to think they need to get up when the sun comes out which doesn't leave me with much sleep. THEN the time changes b/c it's fall. Now, this is my favorite time change but now we are just all messed up!
SO, it is time for a schedule, a good ole routine around the Campbell house. I need sleep and I need some down time without the kiddos, if ya know what I mean. So, the kids go to bed at 7:30, I have been striving to be in bed by 10 p.m. then I am up at 6:45 to go work out, the kids wake up around 7 a.m. with Matt and the day starts!!
That is the goal. Now, the kids got it down. They have no problem going to bed at 7:30 and waking at 7 but Matt and I are trying to adjust. Going to bed early can be hard to do and waking up early is even harder. Last night, we accomplished it though. We were in bed at a good time and I actually was out the door at 7 a.m. and worked out at the fitness center here at our apartment complex. It was grand! Hooray for routines! They make my life more pleasant.
I am motivated to make our household run smoothly for everyone! We'll see how long it last....
